Home Access & Safety – Requirements for a Smooth, Safe Installation

TwinkleTask (a service of Minxen Inc, Texas) follows a clear set of access and safety guidelines to ensure installation is completed smoothly, safely, and on schedule. This page explains what we need from you before we arrive, what constitutes safe access, and how unsafe or obstructed conditions may affect your installation.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS ON INSTALLATION DAY

Clear driveway and walkway access
Unlocked gates to necessary work areas
Safe ladder placement zones
No vehicles blocking access
Operational electrical outlets
No competing contractors present

OUTLET & ELECTRICAL PREPARATION

At least one exterior outlet must be functional
GFCI outlets must not be tripped
No heavy usage on shared circuits during installation

TwinkleTask is not responsible for GFCI tripping, circuit overload, or home electrical issues unrelated to our installation.

PET SAFETY & HOUSEHOLD AWARENESS

Pets must be secured away from work areas
Children should stay clear of ladders and tools
Loose or aggressive pets may result in forfeiture of deposit

LANDSCAPING, YARD CONDITIONS & OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT

We work carefully around landscaping, but we are not responsible for:

Fragile plants or soft soil conditions
Wildlife damage after installation
Damage from landscapers or mowing crews
Irrigation issues affecting lights or cords

ROOF ACCESS & LADDER SAFETY

Ladders placed only on stable surfaces
No leaning ladders on gutters or fragile trim
Minimal roof walking, only when necessary
No roof access on slick, wet, or unstable surfaces

OBSTRUCTIONS & CONTRACTORS

No painters, roofers, gutter teams, landscapers, or other contractors may obstruct installation areas
Blocked access may result in rescheduling fees

HOLIDAY DECOR, FIXTURES & CUSTOMER BELONGINGS

Remove fragile porch décor
Move holiday inflatables or sensitive yard items
Inform us of cameras, sensors, or delicate fixtures

WHAT HAPPENS IF CONDITIONS ARE UNSAFE?

Wet or slick roofs
High winds
Active storms
PETS or obstructions preventing safe access
Electrical inaccessibility

Unsafe conditions may require pausing or rescheduling the installation. Deposits may be forfeited and a $99 fee may apply, as outlined in the Booking & Deposit Policy.
