Terms of Service – The Agreement Governing Your Holiday Lighting Service
These Terms of Service describe the agreement between you (“Customer”) and TwinkleTask (a service of Minxen Inc, Texas) regarding holiday lighting design, installation, maintenance, takedown, storage, and communication services. By booking an installation, paying a deposit, requesting a quote, or receiving services, you agree to these terms.
Our goal is to provide a warm, effortless, and trustworthy experience while protecting your home, our team, our schedule, and our seasonal operating window. These terms help ensure fairness and clarity during our busiest time of year.
OUR SERVICES
- Holiday lighting design and installation
- Takedown after the season
- Seasonal maintenance and repairs
- Optional SafeKeep™ insured storage
- Professional materials and commercial-grade LEDs
- SMS and email service communications
BOOKING, PAYMENT & DEPOSITS
- 50% non-refundable deposit required at booking to secure your installation window.
- Deposits may be credited to next season if cancellation occurs more than 72 hours before the scheduled installation window.
- Inside 72 hours, deposits are forfeited and additional fees may apply.
- Remaining balance is due upon installation completion and may be auto-charged to the card on file.
- Pricing may vary based on design, home size, labor needs, and material requirements.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide accurate contact and home information.
- Ensure safe access to installation areas, including gates, walkways, and driveways.
- Secure pets and keep children clear of work zones.
- Provide functional electrical outlets for use during installation.
- Keep vehicles and obstacles clear from ladder and work areas.
- Notify TwinkleTask of any fragile fixtures, fresh paint, or hazards before installation.
Failure to provide safe access may result in forfeiture of deposit and a rescheduling fee.
PROPERTY CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS
- No responsibility for pet, wildlife, or landscaper damage.
- No responsibility for GFCI tripping or home electrical faults unrelated to our installation.
- No responsibility for damage due to storms or severe weather outside normal seasonal conditions.
- No responsibility for homeowner-adjusted or altered lighting after installation.
WEATHER & SAFETY
- Installations may be paused or rescheduled in unsafe conditions, including high winds, lightning, slick surfaces, or unsafe ladder conditions.
- No refunds are issued for weather delays.
- The next safe, dry installation window will be used whenever weather delays occur.
PRIORITY SERVICES – RUSH™ & NOW™
- Priority upgrade fees for Rush™ and Now™ services are non-refundable.
- Upgrading does not reset cancellation, rescheduling, or deposit rules.
- Upgrading does not override weather-based safety adjustments or blackout-week limitations.
- Priority upgrades are always subject to weather and crew safety.
SAFEKEEP™ SEASONAL STORAGE
- Décor is packed, labeled, barcoded, and stored in an insured facility.
- Lights are inspected before the next season.
- SafeKeep™ customers receive priority installation windows the following year.
- Annual SafeKeep™ fees are non-refundable once storage for the season has begun.
OWNERSHIP OF LIGHTS & MATERIALS
- Customers own their décor and lighting packages unless otherwise noted in writing.
- TwinkleTask retains ownership of clips, cords, specialty cabling, adapters, and any items required for SafeKeep™ handling.
- Replacement of customer-owned décor due to weather, animals, or third-party interference is not covered under warranty.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- TwinkleTask is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
- No refunds will be issued for delays caused by weather, safety conditions, or access issues.
These limitations apply even if TwinkleTask has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
WARRANTY & REPAIRS
TwinkleTask Promise™ provides:
- 24-hour repair scheduling during your active display season.
- Repairs performed by trained TwinkleTask crews.
The warranty does not cover:
- Customer-caused damage.
- Electrical issues unrelated to our installation.
- Damage caused by animals, landscapers, or other contractors.
- Damage from severe storms, flooding, or other extreme weather events.
SMS & EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from TwinkleTask (Minxen Inc) from 877-955-5550 regarding:
- Account notifications
- Service updates
- Installation reminders
- Weather alerts
- Delivery updates
- Customer care responses
- Promotional offers (including seasonal offers, if opted in)
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.
Consent is not required to purchase services.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
Mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties.
DISPUTES & GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes must be brought in Harris County, Texas. You agree to resolve disputes individually and not as part of a class action.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms as needed. The version date at the top or in the page header reflects the most recent revision.
