November 28 — Installation Spotlight

Tonight’s installation took us to River Oaks in Houston, TX — a neighborhood known for its historic estates, elegant architecture, and timeless holiday traditions. This Mediterranean-style home, with its turreted roofline, arched entry, and sweeping front elevation, was a perfect match for our Gleam Package.

Gleam outlines the entire property in warm-white C9 LEDs: the full roofline, peaks, curved turret, front-facing arches, and architectural transitions across the long façade. On Mediterranean homes, Gleam creates a soft, refined glow that enhances the stucco, tile roofing, and rounded forms without overwhelming the design.

To complete the display, we added three large Wreath Enhancements placed on the main peaks and turret — bold focal points that feel right at home in River Oaks’ classic holiday aesthetic. The landscape received Mini-Light Enhancements woven through shrubs and hedges, adding gentle ground shimmer beneath the architectural lines.

The driveway and walkway were finished with Lighting Boosts, guiding guests toward the entry in a warm, elegant curve. Several ornamental trees also received Tree Wrap Enhancements, creating vertical sparkle that beautifully frames the property and adds depth to the overall design.

The homeowners, who host a formal Thanksgiving weekend gathering every year, told us they wanted “a refined Mediterranean holiday glow that still feels inviting.” When we turned on the lights tonight, their college-aged daughter said, “This is the most beautiful it’s ever looked for the holidays.” Those quiet moments are why we love lighting homes like this.
