November 30 — Installation Spotlight

Tonight’s installation took us to the heart of Houston Heights, where a young family celebrating their first holiday season in the neighborhood asked for a warm, classic outline with a little extra color for their kids. With its steep peaks, detailed entry gable, and wraparound shrubs, this elevation was a perfect fit for our Twinkle Package.

Twinkle outlines the roofline and all front-facing peaks in warm-white C9 LEDs, creating the clean, classic silhouette Heights families love — bright enough to stand out, but simple enough to complement the home’s charm. As dusk settled in, the roofline glowed softly beneath the trees, adding instant holiday warmth to the quiet street.

To bring in the playful touch the family requested, we added Color Glow Upgrade™ minis in a rich evergreen hue across the tall front evergreens and hedge lines. These pops of holiday green added depth and contrast beneath the warm-white roofline, giving the display a festive “winter garden” feel. Several shrubs received Mini-Light Enhancements for additional shimmer, and the feature trees on either side of the porch were wrapped using Tree Wrap Enhancements.

The parents told us their kids specifically wanted “green Christmas trees in the yard,” and when the lights turned on tonight, both children ran down the walkway yelling, “They’re glowing!” Moments like that are why Heights holiday installs are some of our favorites — the mix of charm, color, and neighborhood spirit makes every display feel special.
